Gilroy Outlet Mall

Fifty miles south of campus in the heart of the Garlic Capital of the World lies the sprawling Gilroy Outlet Mall. Be sure to taste some of the local delicacies while you're there. If you're lucky, maybe garlic ice cream will be in season. (Napa is also good – just farther away).

San Jose Flea Market

With an antique merry-go-round and 2,700 vendors on 120 acres, this is no ordinary flea market. Check out fresh-from-the-farm produce, international food stands, and live entertainment. Open on Wednesdays through Sundays, the Flea market is located at 1590 Berryessa Road in San Jose. (408) 453-1110.

 

Best Place to Buy a Gift Under $15
