There are not words to describe the horror at the destruction of life and property caused by the attacks on 11 September. As individuals, we are now challenged to find renewed pleasure and peace in our daily lives. As citizens, we are challenged to bring comfort to the relatives and friends of those who lost their lives and to avoid blaming innocent members of the Islamic community. As a nation, we are challenged to respond with precision and deadly force to both those responsible and their protectors and compassion to those innocent of this crime but who have the potential to become tomorrow's suicidal terrorists.
